The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture and the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program are pleased to present a lecture by writer, film and video maker Gregg Bordowitz.
This lecture will address the structuring role of death underlying current aspects of daily social life. It will consider how mortification in art and culture can pose a response to the fear of death repressively exercised in the name of security.
