Serving as the overarching theme to season-wide public programs including panel discussions and an exhibition,
In The Face of Others examines the aesthetics, politics and collaborative processes involved in cross-cultural performances, as well as local community-based projects.

The Winter gallery exhibition features a group show curated by NURTUREart Non-Proit, Inc. from their portfolio registry of over 400 artists. The works offer a snapshot view of the diverse backgrounds and concerns of NURTUREart’s creative community. Concurrent with the anniversaries of LMCC at thirty years and NURTUREart at five, the exhibition also features a site-specifc mural by artist-director Robert Martinez.
