SATURDAY LEAFLETING MEETING
We are coming down to the homestretch of what
promises to be an amazing, successful, and powerful
demonstration of not only all your hard work, energy,
and commitment but also the astounding grassroots
opposition to the Bush agenda. UFPJ is moving
full-speed ahead with our plans for a massive, safe,
legal, and peaceful march past the site of the
Republican Convention on August 29.

Help spread the word! Please join us for a meeting
tomorrow, Saturday, to be coordinated and briefed
about a major leafleting push for the weekend. The
meeting will take place 12 noon at the UFPJ office at
209 West 38th Street, 9th floor (212) 868-5545. We
will meet for under an hour to report back on our
success in our individual communities and share and
assign tasks accordingly, based on what we’ve
identified as the events, spots, and sites in the city
to leaflet this weekend. Then it is off to hit the
streets!!!!
We also need to assign people to leaflet at key times
(lunch hour, rush hour) in various places throughout
the city during the week. Please let our leafleting
coordinator, Jeremy Glick, know about your
availability during the week so we can assign
volunteers accordingly. He can be reached at
jeremy-glick@unitedforpeace.org
Please do what you can to come on Saturday, volunteer
some time, and most importantly bring some friends and
family along on Saturday to assist this effort.
If you cannot make it on Saturday and want to do
leafleting, your help is deeply appreciated and
necessary. A list of distribution centers where you
can pick up leaflets is on the bottom of this
message. Please call the office at 212-868-5545 to let
us know where you are leafleting, so we can assess
coverage and know where our strengths are and what
gaps need to be filled.
Please let us know if you have some extra card tables
(light) to donate temporarily–we can return them
before or right after the demo to our efforts. We
need to do some serious tabling and it would help if
people might donate their card tables, tables from
play-rooms–basically light, functional and conducive
to schlepping around the city. Thanks:)
SUNDAY EVENTS TO LEAFLET
On Sunday, you can meet people at specific events to
spread the word about August 29.  There will be a
team leader at each event waiting for you with some
materials but they will not have enough for everyone,

distribution centers listed at the end. If you have
