Open Call for Proposals:
The In Practice program supports artists in creating new work for exhibition at SculptureCenter. We invite artists to submit proposals for projects and installations to be presented during the Fall/Winter 2004-2005 exhibition season. All of the lower-level project spaces, the exterior courtyard, the building exterior, the reception area, and stairway are available for In Practice projects.
Artists are encouraged to visit SculptureCenter during gallery hours (Thursday – Monday, 11-6). Please note: SculptureCenter will be closed for installation April 12 – 21 and April 26 – May 15th. Building images and floorplans may be viewed and downloaded by clicking the download link above. Questions may be sent to email@example.com and will be compiled into an FAQ page as needed.
Artists selected for the In Practice program will receive a $250 honoraria and up to $1000 in production support.
Work in all media will be considered and artists are encouraged to experiment with the parameters of traditional display and exhibition formats. There are no geographic eligibility requirements, but please be aware that SculptureCenter cannot provide housing or accommodations.
