Be among the first to see Silver City, a new film by heralded filmmaker John
Sayles, one of the essential, iconoclastic voices of American independent
cinema.
Silver City is a politically timely film, about a grammatically challenged,
born-again candidate from a wealthy right-wing political dynasty who fumbles
his way toward elected office (sound familiar?).

screening * Watch Silver City at BAM (30 Lafayette Avenue, Brooklyn)
at 6:30PM or Loews Village VII (66 Third Avenue at 11th Street) at 7PM *
Attend reception at downtown bar, The Dove (228 Thompson Street), from 10PM – midnight with complimentary Brooklyn Lager * The first 10 people
who purchase tickets will receive a signed copy of “Silver City and Other
Screenplays,” published by Nation Books
