Marketsites — Cooking/Kitchen

Dear All:
I am developing a project entitled “Takeout” for the Artists Alliance,
consisting of a performance/installation dealing with food within the
context of Lower East Side immigrant communities. I am inviting
collaborators to create dishes that examine their perception of
“nationality” and national identity. The project will culminate with a
buffet at the AAI on Saturday, May 22, 1-6 PM, when the dishes will be
shared.
>From May 21-22 my studio will be entirely devoted to kitchen and
dining-related items for use on May 22. I am seeking donations from Lower
East Side residents of plates, spoons, glasses, pots, pans, etc.
If you or anyone you know is interested in cooking or in donating items
please let me know by the end of April. I have a small budget. My e-mail
