1. About this Monday

and the text “Desert Screen” by Paul Virilio
AS ALWAYS, ALL are WELCOME to attend
Wow, it has been some weeks since we organized
a reading! So we hope that those who have been
waiting impatiently for an opportunity to read
and discuss and choose some texts to consider
this Fall, will take the opportunity to come
this Monday.
Some of the participants this Monday will also
report back from the Anti-War protests in
Washington D.C.. This reading may also be
of interest for those who plan to attend the
Location One event on Wed. Night (See Events
Calendar).

2. Reading
Desert Screen by Paul Virlio (Continuum Books, 2002)
“Desert Screen” is an essay within a recent book by the same
name, which puts together Virilio’s writings on the Gulf War.
Directions for downloading reading:
1. To download the text for this week, you will first need
to download a free copy of efax messenger, see efax
note (#4 below) for instructions.
2. If you have efax messenger, please proceed to the bottom
of this page so that you can select whether you want the PC or

3. Be sure to have some form of unzipping program once you
