1. About this Thursday
What: Discussion about this Fall’s programs + Some Drinks
Who: All are Welcome
When: 8:00 pm (drinks at 9)
Where: 16 Beaver Street, 5th Floor
Part 1 of the evening will be an informal discussion of upcoming activities and sharing ideas for readings, presentations, invitations and new/old lines of inquiry for the coming year.
Part 2 of the evening will be even less formal, as we just have drinks and prepare ourselves for what will be the 5th year of this unscripted time-share situation called 16Beaver.* (if people bring some drinks, this second part may be cooler)

2. What is coming this Fall ++
*This will be our 5th year of activities, readings, discussions, screenings, meals, presentations, giving time at 16Beaver and it offers to be one of the more interesting (challenging?).
The recent exhibitions in Weimar and Leipzig were an interesting opportunity to link activities we have been organizing here to other cities/sites (our thanks to Frank Motz who put together a very interesting program).
This coming Fall will continue this work as we create a sort of mirror 16Beaver site in Vilnius, Lithuania (for the 24/7 exhibition at the Contemporary Art Centre). Many of the details of this project will develop during the coming months, so those interested are invited to attend this meeting.
In addition, Peter W. and Deidre will also be linking discussions we organized here in New York, with discussions they will be organizing in Ljubljana, Slovenia as a part of their project for Gallery P74.
September 26, will be the First International Lunch Summit (taking place in roughly 16 cities), mark your calendars. More details forthcoming, but if you are interested in receiving more details or participating, please send inquiries to peterlasch@16beavergroup.org.
Even further off in the distance, North Adams awaits, so it will be a busy year. We have built an incredible community of friends, acquaintences, potentialities thus far, this year offers itself as one to reconstitute what these potentialities can become.

3. Next Monday is on Tuesday
We are in the midst of getting a final confirm, but for this Tuesday, we have invited Jerusalem based curator and political/cultural activist Jack Persekian to discuss his curatorial practice and particular strategies and tactics employed by cultural workers within the context of unending state of exception (occupation, security/war without end, etc…).
