As some of our friends have noted in the conclusion of Volume 4:
What the Virus renders visible and sensible is not merely the inconsistencies in the procedures, operations, claims of truth today but more starkly, the structured negligence and violence such regimes of truth require from and produce toward life. And increasingly, they become procedures which govern life toward earthly destruction. How to extricate our communities from reproducing such regimes of truth, of the governance of, over life?
We convene this week, in the wake of our communities of captivity, as well as unrest and insurgency, to reconsider one facet of these aforementioned truth procedures, mathematics – and the histories of a calculus which has justified and continues to tacitly if not explicitly insist that some lives are superior, more valuable, modern, developed, enlightened than others.
